1. Parents/Others are not to assist the participants in undertaking their work. However they can teach them and leave them to create.
2. Two CD’s or DVD’s are to be prepared which represent their work, or the programmes which were used and they are to present this during the finals only.
3. No flash photography is allowed at time of assessment.
4. The work can be photocopied onto a paper if this is suitable and written on this paper is the participant’s details. The festival’s theme can be put with any design as an introduction or final for every work.
5. The work is to be sent in no later than 07/08/2011.
6. Please use Coptic Orthodox information/resources in your work, whether it is a film, hymn, written data or images and write the resources or the reference on an attached paper which also contains all the information in Rule #7 below.
7. Information to be written on the CD which will be given to the organisers: Name, Age Group, church, phone and the type of work on the CD.
First - Multimedia
· Age groups : Years 5-6, Years 7-9 and Youth
· The competition can be in a group or as an individual. Participants are to hand in only one piece of work.
· Only the top 10 displays will be invited for an oral presentation on 14/08/2011
· The winning presentation will be announced and recognised by the Festival.
· Criteria:
1. Panorama: it means you have to shorten an event which goes over a long time and condense it into a short time event. It should consist of sound, video and data and a narrator through the Bible or church history serving one of the Festival central ideas. It is to go for no longer than 15 minutes.
2. Inventing an electronic magazine (put on a CD) using an appropriate program serving the Festival’s theme “Christ Is Our Life”. It is to consist of spiritual songs or hymns with visual images or videos done by the participant; as well as photos and games.

1. Design an electronic website about the church’s history or about the monasteries or the diocese.
2. Design a computer programme using one of these subjects (Bible, Agpeya, Synaxarium or Psalmody).
